Product Description

Model S1177 Bidirectional Current Transducer provides an isolated 0 to ±5Vdc output proportional to the DC input current.  The transducers have an input current range from ±50Adc to ±700Adc and the transducers withstand, without performance degradation or damage, a continuous overload of ±10KAdc.

The S1177 Series delivers performance accuracy (0.5%) over a temperature range from -55°C to +85°C and measures input current with a frequency range from DC to 1KHz.  The transducer’s operate with a supply voltage from +16Vdc to +40Vdc and produces the specified output within 500µ-second.  The transducer’s brass alloy housing, is hermetically sealed, with the internal components encapsulated, withstanding without performance or mechanical degradation environments of moisture, humidity, vibration, shock and altitude.  In addition, the S1177 Series is qualified hardware for DO-160E Section 16, Category B (Power Input).

The S1177 Bidirectional Current Transducers are light weight (9oz. max), are available in 9 standard current ranges and come standard with a connector interface, available with mating connectors.
