Product Description

Model S970 AC Current (RMS) Transducer provides an isolated 4-20mAdc output proportional to the True AC RMS input current. The transducers are operated in a two wire loop power configuration, with an input current range from 2Aac to 250Aac and an overload of 500Aac.

The S970 Series delivers high performance accuracy over a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and measures input current with a frequency range from 360 to 460Hz, with Crest Factors up to 4.  The transducer’s brass alloy housing, is hermetically sealed, with the internal components encapsulated, withstanding without performance or mechanical degradation environments of moisture, humidity, vibration, shock and altitude.  In addition, the S970 Series is qualified hardware for DO-160E Section 20 (Conducted Susceptibility) Environments; 1.5ma @ 10kHz to 75mA @500kHz to 400MHz.

The S970 AC Current Transducers are non-intrusive and come standard with a fuse tin plate finish and a d-sub connector interface, available with mating connector.

  • Measure Motor Current
