ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY INSPECTOR

• Incoming, in-process and final inspection of products used in electrical assemblies.  Visual inspection of PCB's with SMT and thru-hole components; inspection includes component verification, solder workmanship per IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-610, wiring and mechanical inspections.
• Approve/reject material based on company, industry and/or Military inspection standards, communicate to appropriate depts and complete inspection reports and related documentation.
• Candidate must have inspection experience with electrical components and assemblies in compliance with IPC-610 & IPC-J-STD-001.  Experienced with use of calipers, micrometers, pin gauges and other standard inspection equipment.  Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with practical knowledge of general inspection and military standards.  Data entry skills required; Microsoft Office and ability to learn company job tracking program.  Knowledge of calibration databases and ISO 9001 or AS9100 a plus.
