Testing to a variety of industry standards is an integral part of our manufacturing process. Every part we use is carefully inspected before it enters our inventory. Every AAC product is submitted to sub-assembly testing throughout the manufacturing process to assure high product reliability and reduced possibility of defects. We also provide Burn-in/Life testing over temperature and vibration conditions. Every piece we produce is tested to various MIL-Standards for defense applications, EN standards for rail transit applications, DO-160 standards for commercial air applications or UL, CSA and EU standards for industrial applications.
In order to facilitate fast turnaround when testing to industry standards is required, especially for custom designed or modified standard product, American Aerospace has the in-house capability to test to a wide variety of environmental and performance standards. While self-certification is often acceptable to clients, our in-house testing capability ensures that when products are submitted to 3rd party laboratories for independent certification, we already know that they have passed the test requirements. This saves time and frustration and the need to go back and forth between design and test facility. For example, we have the capabilities to test up to 2000 ampsmore than enough to satisfy the most rigorous needs. Our 300 amp, 1 microsecond transit burst checks out parts that will be used in high-noise environments, while our RFI and EMI testing will meet and surpass a wide variety of industry standard requirements.
